Today the Fresno County Probation Department’s James Rowland Crime Victim Assistance Center (CVAC) hosted an “Honor Walk”, honoring victims of crime and their loved ones. In addition, the event served to recognize the many agencies, organizations and members of the community who help to serve and support those touched by crime as well as spread awareness of crime victims’ rights and services.
The Honor Walk took place at Courthouse Park in Downtown Fresno and was followed by an awareness event and candlelight vigil at the Fresno County Plaza Ballroom.
This annual event is part of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, which runs April 8-14, 2018.
