Congratulations to Fresno County Principal Admin Analyst, Samantha Buck, on her completion of the Credentialed California County Senior Executive program. This program is geared toward enhancing leadership and knowledge competencies among senior County officials to meet learning and professional development goals and expanding participant’s capacities to address contemporary challenges. Offered through the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) Institute for Excellence in County Government, Samantha earned this recognition by completing 30 credits of coursework to help enhance her skills in her dedication to providing extraordinary services to our County departments and the communities we serve. Samantha (pictured holding the credential) was presented with her credential this week at CSAC’s Annual Meeting alongside (L to R) Fresno County Administrative Officer, Jean Rousseau; Assistant CAO, Deborah Paolinelli; Assistant CAO, Jeannie Figueroa; Fresno County District 5 Supervisor, Nathan Magsig; and Fresno County District 4 Supervisor, Buddy Mendes. Congratulations, Samantha!
Today we are proud to celebrate families! It’s #AdoptionDay2019 in #FresnoCounty and we are overjoyed to see 50 children realize their dream of a permanent home with their forever families as their adoptions are finalized. Today, 30 families close the chapter on the adoption process and begin a new journey forward with children they can call their own. The road to this point has had its challenges for the children and their families, but all have persevered in pursuit of providing love, support and safety for children in need. These families are among many in our community that have opened their hearts and homes as foster families and adoptive parents, making a tremendous impact in the lives of their children. But with more than 2,300 children in various stages of foster care throughout our County, the need for more supportive families is great. If you would like to learn more about becoming a resource family for children in our community, please call 877-533-KIDS (5437) and/or visit https://www.fresnoresourcefamilies.org/ for information.
