med

To help support ongoing COVID-19 response efforts, Fresno County is seeking registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), certified nurse assistants, and other medically trained personnel to help meet potential staffing needs at local hospitals, skilled nursing care facilities, and/or alternate care sites.

As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Fresno County and across the country, the demands for resources and support continue to increase in healthcare settings and local health departments. In order to be as prepared as possible, the County is building a pool of medically trained personnel to be activated when needed at hospitals, skilled nursing care facilities, or at an alternate care site.

In addition to individuals with healthcare experience, there may be additional opportunities for those with experience in the following areas:

  • Nutrition,
  • Administration,
  • Customer Service
  • Social Work,
  • Case Management,
  • Office Assistance,
  • Information Technology, and many more.

Fresno County understands the value of persons coming together in public service in order to help fight the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
