Fresno County Drop Boxes are Ready for Voted Ballots Today
Today, the second and last truckload of ballots was taken to the U. S. Post Office in downtown Fresno, to be mailed to registered voters for the November 3, 2020 election. The first batch of 240,000 ballots was mailed on Friday and many had already been received in the mail on Saturday. Today’s second and last batch was roughly the same size as Friday’s.
In accordance with the Voters Choice Act, every registered voter in Fresno County will once again receive their ballot in the mail.
Voters have several convenient ways to return their ballot:
- Starting today, October 5, 2020, voters can return their voted and signed ballot to any one of the 66 secure drop boxes located throughout Fresno County. A list was included in your ballot packet, the Voter Information Guide and can be found at https://www.votefresnocounty.com
- Voters can also return their voted and signed ballot in the secure self-addressed postage-paid envelope provided with the ballot, via U. S. Mail. No additional postage is necessary, simply mail it back it in. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by November 3, 2020.
- The Fresno County Election Office, located at 2221 Kern Street in downtown Fresno, will also be open for voting, starting today, October 5, 2020 and will remain open for in person voting assistance on Election Day, November 3, 2020.
- Voters can vote in person at a Vote Center from October 31-November 3, 2020. Voters can easily find a Vote Center that is convenient for them listed in the Voter information Guide and at https://www.votefresnocounty.com
